1. Data controller
The data controller is QA CONSULTING. For any question regarding your data, contact: contact@horse-ledger.com.
QA CONSULTING is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO); requests relating to your data are handled at the address above.
2. Data collected
Through the « Request a demo » form
- Full name;
- Professional email address;
- Name of your organisation and herd size;
- Declared role and, where applicable, the free-text message you enter.
On this showcase site, the interactive demo sends no data: it runs entirely in your browser, using a fictitious dataset.
Through the Horse Ledger application (authenticated area)
Within the application, the stable-management data you enter (horses, health records, clients, payments, etc.) is stored on a Supabase infrastructure. You remain its owner.
3. Purposes & legal bases
- Responding to a demo request — legal basis: pre-contractual measure / consent;
- Providing and securing the application — legal basis: performance of the contract;
- Ensuring the proper technical operation of the site — legal basis: legitimate interest.
No data is used for advertising profiling or sold to third parties.
4. Recipients & processors
Your data is accessible only to authorised staff of the publisher and to its technical subcontractors, acting on instructions:
- Site hosting: Vercel Inc. — 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA;
- Database & authentication: Supabase — base PostgreSQL managée, hébergée dans l'Union européenne (région eu-west-1, Irlande);
- Payments & subscriptions: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Irlande;
- Contact & demo forms: Formspree, Inc. — États-Unis (traitement des formulaires de contact et de demande de démonstration).
5. Transfers outside the European Union
The database (Supabase — base PostgreSQL managée, hébergée dans l'Union européenne (région eu-west-1, Irlande)) is hosted within the European Union and the payment provider (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Irlande) is established in Ireland: these processing activities involve no transfer outside the EU. Application hosting (Vercel Inc. — 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) and form processing (Formspree, Inc. — États-Unis (traitement des formulaires de contact et de demande de démonstration)) may, however, involve a transfer to the United States, framed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification).
6. Retention period
- Demo requests: up to 36 months after the last contact, unless you object;
- Application data: for the duration of your use of the service, then in accordance with legal obligations.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access, rectification and erasure;
- Right to restriction of and objection to processing;
- Right to the portability of your data;
- Right to set instructions regarding the fate of your data after your death.
